What kind of documents do you translate?
Typical document types we handle include brochures, booklets, catalogues, contracts, datasheets, financial reports, flyers, installation guides, labeling, manuals, market research, newsletters, operating instructions, packaging, price lists, product information, request for purchase, safety information, sales proposals, tender documentation, training course materials, user manuals, website texts.
Is this translation done by a computer?
No, all translations are performed by only by professional translators, who are native speakers of the target languages. Translations are then checked by a second native speaking translator before delivery.
Google relies on machine translation which cannot match the abilities of a skilled human translator; while it can fairly accurately translate single words it has no ability to understand the full complexities of languages, particularly in the sense of context that the translation is set. For a professional, serious translation there is still no alternative to translating with a skilled, human translator.
The time to produce the translation depends on the amount of words, number of languages and complexity of text. Typically a single professional translator can translate about ten pages of A4 text in a single day.
The number of words, the number and language types involved determine the cost of the translation job. The cost given is fixed and is the final price charged, there are no hidden extras.
Is there a minimum order charge?
The minimum order charge for a translation is 25 euro per language.
Where possible we try and ensure that the translated files are formatted and have a similar appearance to the original, however we cannot guarantee that. To make sure formatting is done we need to charge for this as an additional service at our standard DTP rates, if you require formatting please be sure to state that at time of order placement.
How is the translation delivered?
The translation is delivered back to the email address you specify.
How is payment made for the translation?
Your company is invoiced at the end of the month in which the translated files were delivered to you. The payment terms are 30 days from the date of the invoice. The invoice clearly shows itemized transactions with information as to your order reference and order date.
What if there is a problem with the translation?
In the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied with the translated work, we will either correct it quickly at your request or provide a refund.
